Dexter Dennis and Julius Marble scored 17 points each as host Texas A&M defeated LSU 69-56 on Saturday in College Station, Texas.<br> Tyrece Radford added 14 points and Wade Taylor IV had 13 as the Aggies (10-5, 2-0 SEC) dominated the game on the inside.
They had a 42-10 advantage in points in the paint and an 18-5 edge in second-chance points. They held a 38-27 rebounding edge as Marble led the way with a game-high nine rebounds.<br> Adam Miller scored 16 points, and Cam Hayes and KJ Williams had 10 each to lead the Tigers (12-3, 1-2), who shot 34.7 percent (17 of 49) in their lowest-scoring game of the season.<br> Marble made back-to-back driving layups to start the second-half scoring and extend the Aggies’ lead to 38-23.<br> Williams made two free throws for the Tigers’ first points of the half and added a layup that trimmed the lead to 42-33.<br> Marble and Radford scored four points each as Texas A&M built the lead to 53-38 midway through the half.<br> The closest LSU got after that was 10 points and the Aggies took their biggest lead at 63-46 with 4:21 left.<br> Miller and Hayes started the LSU scoring with a pair of 3-pointers, but then the Tigers went scoreless for more than four minutes and Sbobet the Aggies took an 11-6 lead.<br> Hayes made consecutive baskets to trim the lead to one before Texas A&M scored six straight points.<br> Another 3-pointer by Miller trimmed the lead to five before LSU hit another scoring drought.<br> The Tigers went more than four minutes without scoring and Dennis had six points as the Aggies took their biggest lead of the half, 32-17.<br> Justice Williams made a 3-pointer to end the drought and Hayes added a three-point play before Marble’s layup left Texas A&M with a 34-23 halftime lead.<br> –Field Level Media<br>
