这里曾经是新加坡的最高法院和政府大厦，建筑保留得非常完整，内部甚至还保留了一部分旧时法院的听证席和座椅，记录着当日的辉煌。

而馆藏方面最值得一看的，当然要数新加坡国家博物馆。其中最大的常展《新加坡历史长廊》介绍了新加坡作为一个小岛的发展史，李光耀在脱马时的掉眼泪的那一刻被一遍又一遍重复地播放着。地下一层通常是特展展区，有时也有些不错的展览。

无论你是不是集邮爱好者，都可以从其展出的小邮票中看到一些有趣的故事。集邮博物馆的二楼有一间小房间展示了新加坡早期普通人生活的场景。旁边是特展区和介绍新加坡邮政历史的展馆。集邮博物馆离新加坡国家博物馆不远，步行五分钟左右就到了，去了新加坡国家博物馆之后，不妨绕道去集邮博物馆溜达一圈，在欣赏这别致的殖民时代的小建筑的同时，也可以从另一个角度了解新加坡的历史。

坐落在新加坡河畔，亚洲文明博物馆本身的馆藏有些深奥，博物馆本身又有些大，只看一个部分有些摸不着头绪，都看完了又挺花时间的。所以，不如去看看那里有时还蛮有趣的特展。

这间博物馆的特展有些是关于艺术的，有些是关于科学的。不过最有趣的是把艺术和科学结合在一起的，从最理性和最感性的两个角度同时解读同一件事物。

坐落于新加坡国立大学里面，因为偏僻所以人少，里面最出名的是有几具几乎完整的恐龙化石，并配合这个陈列的物种进化史。陈列恐龙化石的博物馆世界上当然不少，但访客最少的大概是这里了。如果你想踏踏实实安安静静地端详这个万年前的地球统治者，这里无疑是个好选择。

你以为这里只是间普通的电影院或购物中心吗？如果你看了它位于二楼的陈列室就不这样认为了。新加坡的购物中心、电影院多数都是当代建筑，唯有这里，还保留了一点点二战前的模样。

位于武吉士地铁站附近，常展是新加坡在国际上获奖的作品。特展则是各种有特色的设计作品，入场免费。
